Ms. Mona El-saghir, member of the Executive Group of the European Broadcasting Union for Programs and Drama, gave a comprehensive explanation of the role of the European Broadcasting Union and the positive role of public service tv and the role of the Union in development. This was during a cultural celebration at the Opera House, organized by the National Council for Women, headed by Dr. Maya Morsi, and through the Foreign Relations Committee, headed by Her Excellency Ambassador Mona Omar, considering that Egypt is an active member and even among the members of the Executive Group for Programs and Drama in the European Broadcasting Union

This film was produced by the Global Forum for Media and Development /Global Compact United Nations, as a kind of appreciation of the great role played by Garden City lions club ,which consider to be a role model of a very good NGO ‘s in Egypt . Garden City lions club headed by lions Hazem Khalil succeeded to renovate Maadi hospital ,which was a huge project with the support of CIB Bank and medical institution. The film was produced in this year, considering that this year is the year of civil society to show some successful models and to shed light through this film and even to spread it out on all sites as a role model for civil society to follow. Where the Lions Garden City Club president Lions Hazem Khalil and the honorable club members, renovated and supplied the Maadi Hospital with the latest medical equipment in cooperation with the medical Institution and the Commercial International Bank. Yes, a wonderful model to be followed by civil society .

A symposium was held in Maadi ,targeting to raise awareness of the importance of parliamentary life in Egypt , that was after the 2011 revolution in Egypt the symposium was about the importance of positive participation by citizens in the elections of the new members of Parliament. This symposium was an outcome of a partnership with the Arab-West Understanding Foundation under the protocol signed between the two sides. A nominated well-known figure Mohamed Al-Sadat ( El Sadat Niece) was hosted as the main speaker in the Symposium .
